Leon Kraicer

(Kreuzer/Kraitzer/Krajcer, 1913 in Warsaw — date and place of death unknown)

Leon Kraicer was in the Warsaw Ghetto, came to the DP camp Bergen Belsen after his liberation and lived in the Jewish DP camp in Geretsried in former factory workers’ houses near Wolfratshausen in 1948. He was an active member of the
artists’ section of the Sh’erit ha-Pletah Writers’ Association.

Kraicer exhibited five wooden sculptures with titles including “Musicians”, “Debate” and “Drunkenness” in the “Exhibition of Jewish Artists.”

So far, nothing is known of Leon Kraicer’s later life.
