Admissions and Closing Times

Usual entrance fees are:

Adults: € 6
Students and Seniors: € 3
Children under the age of six: free of charge

Visitors who want to use the Jewish Museum's library can do so free of charge. Please ask for a "reader's badge" at the information counter.

Special Discounts: Receive 50% off admission to Munich's municipality museums when you present your Jewish Museum ticket stub on the same or the next 2 days. Visitors to The Jewish Museum can present their ticket stub from the other municipality museums to receive the same discount off admission here.

The Jewish Museum offers special opening hours or will be closed for:
December, 24: Christmas Eve: closed
December, 25: Christmas Day: open from 12:00 noon
December, 26: Boxing Day: open
December, 31: New Years Eve: closed
January, 1: New Years Day: open from 12:00 noon
January, 6: The Three Kings: open

The first and second floor will be closed for the installation of our new temporary exhibition from February  23th to March 24th, 2015.
Discounted entrance fees will apply during these weeks for the visit of our permanent exhibition: Regular: 3,00 €, reduced fee: 2,00 €

Services for Visitors with mobility Impairments

All public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible. A Wheelchair-accessible restroom is located on the lower level. The 1st and 2nd Floor are accessible with the elevator. A wheelchair is available to borrow free of charge.
