Netiquette

For us, respect for one another and a constructive interchange are also important on our digital channels. For these reasons we would like to outline our “netiquette” rules:

Please make sure that the language you use is appropriate and respectful. We expressly welcome comments and discussions on our posts—however, insults, personal attacks and comments of a racist, antisemitic, sexist, extremist, pornographic, or of a defamatory nature, in whatever form, have no place on our media platforms and will be removed by us without explanation. Illegal contents will be reported and, if necessary, complaints will be registered. We reserve the right to block such contributors.

Please keep to the topic! Comments that have nothing to do with the post, spam communications and contents of a commercial nature will be removed.

Please do not distribute quotes, pictures or videos whose sources cannot be traced! We oppose the spread of false and historical revisionist statements on our social media channels. Contents of a doubtful nature and links to corresponding pages will, therefore, be removed from our platforms.

We endeavor to answer your comments and direct messages quickly. Messages that reach us over the weekend are usually answered on the next working day. We appreciate your understanding should there be any delays.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to hearing your views. Should you have any questions about our “netiquette” rules or you would like to report anything inappropriate on our media channels, please contact us at: social-juedisches-museum(at)muenchen.de
