Exhibition in the Study Area at the Jewish Museum Munich

In 1992 Peter H. Bach (1914-98), the grandson of the founder of the Isidor Bach clothing and sports store, which was aryanized in 1936, established the foundation for the municipality of Munich to offer artifacts of Jewish history, and in doing so provided an important impulse for the founding of the Jewish Museum Munich. A selection of aquisitions reminds us of what used to be the largest clothes store in the city and provide documentation of the foundations activities.
