Tours of the temporary exhibition are led by our visitor assistants and explore personal histories of immigrants who have arrived in Germany from the Soviet Union and its successor states since the 1990s.
The more than 200,000 Russion-speaking immigrants who have since come to Germany play a significant role in the life of today's Jewish communitites. In the exhibtion many personal objects and memories trace the migration path to Munich from the former Soviet Union and the hopes, dreams and fears associated with settling in a new homeland.
