Temporary Exhibitions

The Jewish Museum Munich is devoting the exhibition year 2009/2010 to the subject of photography within a Jewish context. The three-part series opens with hand-colored photographs from Palestine from the photographic studio of the American Colony in Jerusalem, created between 1898 and 1931, and now being exhibited in Germany for the first time. Visitors can gain a new and fascinating view of the Near East during the first third of the 20th century.
